Here is why I chose Ectopic Pregnancy Trust as my fundraising charity! On the 18/08/2017 I went into hospital for my scan, cold jelly was applied to my stomach, we were buzzing to finally be able to see our little bean! I was told baby wasn’t in the womb and that he/she was in fact in my right Fallopian tube. I was whisked straight for surgery. 2 hours later I no longer had my baby however there was still hope and I held on to that 💛 in March last year I went to hospital for my scan, got told baby was in the correct place, we even heard the heartbeat something we haven’t heard before after 6 miscarriages and the last ectopic, we were over the moon! I left the hospital crying (happy tears off course) we went home I was scared to do anything after everything in the past! Few days past and I had to nip to the hospital for tablets, the nurse said “would you like to see your baby again” she was so happy for us. So we jumped on the bed totally excited for what was to come, cold jelly was applied. Nurse was scanning me and her face fell! I just knew something wasn’t right. Doctor came in and told me that the baby had never been in my womb and that this beautiful little peanut was in my left Fallopian tube. An hour later I was being put to sleep and had no choice but to say goodbye 💔 we got baby back and had a burial service and named our little angel Bailey-Jo! I just keep holding on to hope that I have the chance of IVF some women out there don’t even get that! The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust is very close to my heart!
