Story
30 years ago I lost my nan to this disease and in more recent years we had to say goodbye to a close family friend who also lost her fight, therefore it is a charity very close to my heart.
With COVID closing the fairways I took to the hills to keep active and the mind healthy. I’ve always been an outdoor kinda girl and with it also being the year I turn 40 this is my chance to do some more fundraising..
So.......on the 22nd May 2021 I will be walking approx 25 miles visiting the 6 Trig Points that surround Builth Wells, their heights amount to 2310 metres; that’s 1 metre more than Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis combined. The challenge will begin and end at my front door! Friends and family are welcome to join me for all or sections of the walk.
It’s not going to be easy but that’s the point isn’t it!
