As many of you are aware our mum was diagnosed with breast cancer almost 2 years ago.  After battling with this disease for a year undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy at Velindre hospital she has beaten breast cancer and this is all due to the fast actions of the doctors and the treatment she received. 

 

We have decided to help Velindre raise money for its leading lights appeal, supporting specialst nurses, to find out more go to http://www.velindrefundraising.com/index.php?id=131 .  To contribute to the amazing ongoing cancer care Velindre offers to its patients, we have decided to set ourselves a tough challenge to raise vital funds for this wonderful cause

 

We will be cycling from London to Paris over 4 days from 14th September 2011.  The journey is approximately 300 miles and training has already begun.....

 

Now here's how you can help!!!  We have to raise a total of £2700 between us to take part, some of the money raised goes towards the cost of the event.  We have had 2 cakes sales which have raised a great deal towards our target and many of our friends and family have sponsored us.  Many thanks to you all.

 

We are now planning a murder mystery evening on Friday 27th May, where we hope to raise a lot more and get close to our goal.
