Story

Fragile X Syndrome is a genetic condition that causes a range of developmental problems including learning disabilities and cognitive impairment. Usually, males are more severely affected by this disorder than females.

We are taking on a self-funded driving challenge to raise money for the Patrick Wild Centre which aims to progress the understanding of autism and intellectual disabilities, along with accelerating the development of new therapeutic options for people who are affected by them. This cause is very close to our hearts.

This challenge will see us driving between eight to ten hours a day over very tough terrain. We will cover approximately 7,000 miles as we make our way through France, Germany, Austria, Serbia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

To ensure we raise as much money as possible we are all paying all our own expenses. That means all the donations received through this JustGiving page will go directly to the Patrick Wild Centre for Research into Autism Fragile X Syndrome and Intellectual Disabilities. Thank you.

Please support us by donating today.
