Those of you that know me will know that pavements are not my "natural environment" so taking on a half marathon is an enormous challenge for me.  Finishing it will be a great achievement for me and if I can raise a few pounds for a charity that is close to me it will make that achievement even better.

Living on an Island nearly all of my friends and family make the most of the sea on a regular basis whether it's swimming or snorkelling, fishing or diving, windsurfing or kayaking.  Although it is not a charity we ever want to have to call on knowing that Isle of Man Underwater Search and Recovery is there is reassuring.  Being a local charity and only being established for a couple of years any donations are hugely appreciated
