For my 50th birthday this year I thought I'd do something different, a challenge. I've decided to walk 50 miles in one day. I will use this challenge to help raise money for the baby loss charity Sands. Sadly, the death of a baby is not rare. Every day in the UK around 13 babies die before, during or soon after birth. Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it.
