Artemis Pentland Peaks Challenge 2023 · 2 September 2023 ·

The Artemis Charitable Foundation supports charities in the UK and internationally in the areas of health, poverty, education and the environment. The foundation sponsors the Artemis Pentland Peaks Challenge so that all the funds raised can go to the event charities Mary's Meals and John Muir Trust.

Story

When I saw the e mail from Artemis calling for volunteers to walk in the Pentland Hills to raise funds for the John Muir Trust and Mary's Meals, I thought 'I could do that'. Never have before, nor tried a fund raiser, so that's two firsts! As someone accustomed to a 20 minute walk to and from work and a 1 hour walk at weekends with our golden retriever, this 15 mile hike on Saturday 2nd September is going to be quite a challenge. But it is for such high-impact charities of such relevance today. I would really appreciate any financial support you can give.
