I'm hoping to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support biking the length of the country with friends Del and Marcus this summer. Macmillan were an incredible support to my Mum, Hazel when she was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago. The nurses worked unbelievably hard going way beyond the call of duty to provide exceptional care which undoubtedly helped Mum stay so positive through all the tests, surgery, chemotherapy and out the other side in good health. Macmillan needs money to provide these services which can make a world of difference to people affected by cancer so please be generous. 

The bike trip will take the 'scenic' route - 1138 miles over 17 days. The longest day is 93 miles on the West coast of Scotland, but the toughest will probably be day 2 in Cornwall - 88 miles with a total ascent of 6364ft - ouch, but should all be well worth it. We're camping along the way - thanks in advance to support crew Sarah, Ben, Emily and Charlie for driving with the tents!
