Hello everyone.

On 28 January 2011 I'm off on a 450km long cycle ride from Vietnam to Cambodia with Claudia, my beloved. It will in many ways be horrible. There'll be tears, bruising, some screaming. I'll inevitably fall off, probably into oncoming traffic.

But it is for a very good cause - MAG, the landmine clearing charity, who are working to rid the world of unexploded mines. For a start, Claudia and I will be trying desperately not to cycle over one.

So please please give generously.
