We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

On 9th May myself and a gang of colleagues and friends will be cycling from the AJ Bell stadium Salford to Llanberis in North Wales, an epic voyage covering 110 miles and approximately 6000 feet of climbing.  The reason is in memory of a much loved friend and colleague Gareth Jones who passed away suddenly last year.  With the blessing of Gareths' wife we are fundraising for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) charity, as featured in a recent Panorama documentary. In supporting CALM we are hoping to raise the awareness and prevention of adult male suicide, the biggest killer of men aged under 45 in the UK.  Thank you in anticipation.

(PS This Justgiving page is in addition to Paul Harvey's for the same event, just to allow my friends and family the chance to sponsor me more easily.)
