Story

So, due to the weather in London last week, Do It For Charity cancelled the Santa Run in Greenwich Park - rubbish, and they were providing the free Santa suits on the day - double rubbish. But did that stop us dressing up like plonkers and running around in public on a FREEZING Sunday morning? Like hell did it. There was no way we could let all your sponsorship go to waste.

So Sunday started with a mad dash to the Co-op in Knebworth to get as much Santa stuff as we could (thanks Mum and Dad, or Ga and Dud Dud to Milun!). Then it was on with the flashing Santa hats, elf hat, elf socks, reindeer antlers, Santa suit and blow up horse costumes and we were ready. Off to Stanborough Lakes for the 11am start of the Simpson Santa Dash 2010.

We took it at a steady pace to start with but as more random people out for a Sunday morning stroll started clapping and taking photos and cars on the nearby road began to beep their horns, we realised we needed to finish this 5K as quickly as possible. One more lap of the Lakes and then thankfully Holly had packed the Lucozades and fizzy sweets for when we had finished, well done  HPB!

All that is left to say is a MASSIVE thank you for all your support, it really means a lot to us and all the family and we have been blown away by your generosity - the big guy from the North (Santa that is, not Chris) says you have all been labelled "good" for this year and so you can expect a visit from him on Christmas Eve.

Thank you so much - Holly, Garry, Lucy, Chris, Lottie, Robbie and Nicola xxx
