At the end of May I will be going to India to volunteer with Raleigh International and in order to go I am raising £800 to help fund the projects we will be working on there.

Raleigh ICS focuses on tackling issues around water and sanitation, natural resource management and the environment. The work I will be doing will involve improving community health by raising awareness of hygiene and sanitation, building toilets for the community and running training sessions around disease prevention and hand washing. As well as this we will be setting up youth groups and womens groups within the community in order to give them the opportunity to tackle local issues that the villagers feel are important and give them the resources to continue this work after we leave.

In order to raise this money for Raleigh I will be:

• putting on a quiz for my fellow competitive fact-fans
  
• selling some of my baking creations
• hosting bunting workshops so you can come and create something pretty and share my love of crafts!
• doing anything you want!! If you have a job that needs doing or you just want me to publicly humiliate myself, name it and I will name a price.
