We’re more determined than ever to make sure new generations, especially young people from disadvantaged groups, can discover the power of DofE.

Story

A group of staff from Sketchley Hill Primary School will be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge during the weekend of 11/12 June 2016.

Penny Masser, Carole Boulton, Bekkie Adams, Jason Cader, Carly West, Debbie Moore, Sharon Ames, Megan Padbury, Rachel Stocks, Julie Mason and our drivers James Tarrant and, Philippa Campbell

The challenge will be tough for us all. It involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowdon  over 3000 metres in ascent; almost 25 miles of mountain walking and a journey of over 400  miles on road  between the peaks - all in 24 hours from the point that we start climbing Ben Nevis to the end of our descent from Snowdon. In addition we will travel a further 600 miles by road to and from our start and finish point.

We are  training hard and will continue to do so throughout the coming months and we hope our efforts will inspire you to donate generously for this wonderful cause.

Thank you from us all.
