Story

Hi, my name is Stefan Lloyd founder of (Smile4/ SLR Fitness)

We are walking from Essex (Newbury Park) to Central London (Oxford Circus) on the 30th October stopping at every central line station inbetween

This is in aid of thr Youngminds Trust who help individuals who suffer with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and self-harm.

The 5 reasons why I am choosing to do the fundraiser walk:

1. I would like to raise awareness around people who suffer with mental health issues, especially depression, anxiety and self-harm

2. Unaware to everyone apart from three people. I suffered in silence and was a culprit of all three of the above issues back in 2014 where I was stopped from taking my own life. (For those that know me and didn't know this apologies if this comes as a shock)

3. I love my car so much it makes me a publictransportphobe  (not a word i know) i hate walking, anything longer than 400metres doesn't sit well with me (unless it is sprints) which makes this challenge WAY out of my comfort zone.

4. I was always told when things get tough in life always think of something that you would smile for as this will create positve thought processes during hard times. This was a big factor to coming out of my bad patch and from talking to a lot of people I was encouraged to start the smile4 campaign to help those that go through the same issues.

5. It's for a good cause, it will keep you fit it is definitely a challenge  and ultimetly if you come and walk with us you will have a lot of fun also.
