2020 Campaign to Fight Child Abuse, 4 October 2020
"Safe at home" is not true for all children, especially during this pandemic. Your support is essential to prevent and treat child abuse locally. Help us keep kids safe at home, safe on the internet, safe in the community. Safe from abuse.

Story

There are many reasons why vulnerable children are the hidden victims of this global health crisis, including....
- Domestic violence is exacerbated by higher and ever-mounting levels of stress, exposing already fragile children to violence and the potential for abuse.
- Children are typically spending more time on the Internet; grooming, sexting and trafficking are on the rise.
- Periods of absence from school means children are out of sight from their teachers; and fewer eyes means more child abuse is going unreported.

As a board member of the Help for Children (HFC) charity I am dedicated to helping this foundation fight child abuse and during this difficult time I am asking for your support.

In the absence of our usual fund raising events our grantees need your help more than ever.

My goal is to raise £2,020 in 2020.

Please consider giving whatever you can so that HFC can continue to fund the best child abuse prevention and treatment programs in the UK.

If you would like to know more about the charity please get in touch or go to http://uk.hfc.org/

Thank you.
