Fundraising for Tyneside Mind
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On April 23rd 2017 I will be running my very first Marathon, the prospect of this is terrifying, but I'm looking forward to being able to raise as many funds as I can for a charity so close to my heart, Mind.
Also, because I like a treat I will be also running the Great North 10k in July and the GNR in September!
Finishing off the year I pledge to run everyday in December and will record my total distance ran.
Mental Health is very close to my heart with family and close friends having suffered from this invisible illness. As many of you may know I always fundraise for this cause.
I have decided to raise funds for Tyneside & Northumberland Mind who are a wonderful local charity who are doing fantastic work in my local area surrounding Mental Health & Mental Health Awareness - they rely solely on donations/fundraising so I want to raise as much as I can to support the brilliant work they're doing.
Figures suggest 1 in 4 suffer with Mental Health so it's becoming more and more apparent day to day. Anyone can be a sufferer so let's end the stigma.
