Hi, thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

My name is Sophie and alongside my best friend Rebecca, we are going to be challenging ourselves to run 100 miles each in the month of February. We are fundraising for the amazing charity, The Brain Tumour Charity. We are participating in this challenge in loving memory on Karen Parry. Karen was a thoughtful, kind hearted, beautiful woman who was loved by many. She was an amazing mum to Rebecca and Andrew, and I was very lucky to have grown up with Karen in my life too. 

Rebecca and I first met when our mums became friends when we were only 3 years old. Ever since we have been inseparable, practically doing everything together in the process! The Brain Tumour Charity supported Karen in her fight against cancer and we would love to give something back to this amazing charity to support others going through a similar battle.

I know that Karen would have laughed and said 'Good Luck!' at the thought of me trying to persuade Becca to take on this running challenge... but here we are and I can say with confidence, that she'd be very proud of us both in doing so.
