London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
Just over a year ago we lost our beautiful Nanny to cancer. We thought the operation to remove her cancer had been successful but it turned out it hadn’t, in a matter of months we had to say a heartbreaking goodbye.
It’s so sad that so many people can relate to our story. There are currently over 3 million people living with cancer just in the UK, and someone is diagnosed with cancer, on average, every 90 seconds.
This year we will both be running the London Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.
Our reason to run is what is going to get us over the finish line! With every step, we'll be thinking of Nanny and of all the people who are fighting cancer right now. We hope to raise enough money to make a difference to their lives, to give them the support they need to keep fighting and to wish for happy endings for them.
26 miles of love, determination and hopefully legs in one piece. Any donations, no matter how small will mean so much.
Thank you,
Love
