My beautiful, brave best friend, Charlotte, lost her wonderful Mum to this hideous disease. Mama Park is so very special to me. She had such an influence in my life, always beautiful,  always full of chat and encouragement and never without a cup of tea, cheese sandwiches  and life advice for us during the teenage years!! It breaks my heart that her life ended as it did, unable to talk or even close her eyes to sleep. This disease is devastating. Charlotte and I need to do something positive to help others suffering with MND .  I’m not a natural runner and I’m not sure I really enjoy it yet!! When I started I could manage about 60 seconds of running without stopping. I’m training hard ( 3 children permitting!) when I can and I’m absolutely determined to support Charlotte & raise money for MND in memory of her amazing Mum, a person who is dearly loved and missed, had everything to live for and has helped me on countless occasions to be a better person.  Please sponsor me, even the smallest amount goes a long way.
