Story
You’ve seen me in a plane... you’ve seen me fly a plane... now you’ll see me on a plane.
Not exactly my idea of a Dreamflight!
For those that already know me; hey! For those that don’t; hey! My name is Sophie and I am cabin crew for a British Airline, which means I can’t be scared of heights, right? WRONG. I’m petrified to be honest, won’t even climb up a ladder! So why am I doing this?
For Dreamflight.
Dreamflight is a UK charity that takes children with a serious illness or disability on their holiday of a lifetime to Orlando. The experience can be life-changing and gives young people an opportunity to do something that medicine can’t: discover independence, confidence and a new outlook.
I am fortunate enough to have been to Disney World myself and it’s the most magical experience that I wish everyone could enjoy, especially the children that this charity supports.
So I am going to be strapped on to the top of an aeroplane, going to heights of 700ft and speeds of 110mph in the hope that you will donate to this amazing cause.
I will of course share the journey on my Instagram so that you can enjoy my screams of terror!
