Hi everyone,

 I'm doing the Great North Run on Saturday 18th September and am hoping to raise as much money as possible for the British Red Cross.

The British Red Cross is a fantastic charity which does work both in the UK and overseas. At the moment one of the main things Red Cross is fundraising for is to provide food, water and healthcare to the people affected by the East Africa food crisis.Within the UK the Red Cross is currently helping victims of the riots who lost their homes to get back on their feet, by providing them with vouchers for clothes and other possessions.
