Story
I have been growing my hair out for five years and I now have plenty of #HairToShare so I am braving the chop and donating as much of it as I can to the Little Princess Trust so that they can provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Alongside this haircut experience I have decided to fundraise for Brain Tumour Research which is a charity very close to my heart.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of UK children and adults yet receive just 1% of the national spend on cancer research. Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity in the UK funding sustainable and continuous research into brain tumours. Let's #FundTheFight together and ultimately find a cure.
In 2011 my Auntie Ann was diagnosed with a brain tumour and we were told that she would have "years, not decades" left with us. She died 5 months to the day from that announcement. My aunt was 44 and lived life to the fullest but she had so much more to give.
If you are able to help Brain Tumour Research in their quest to find a cure we would be most grateful. Every little helps.
