Brave Futures is a specialist support service for children and young people up to the age of 18 years who have experienced sexual abuse. We work throughout Suffolk and Norfolk. Providing a safe place for children and young people to make sense of the confusion they feel. We give children and young people the skills and tools they need to re-build their futures, manage the trauma they have experienced and help them move from victim to survivor.

Story

We at St Stephens Gate Medical Practice are taking part in a mud run on Saturday 15th June to raise money for Fresh Starts, New Beginnings who are a service that provide treatment for child sexual abuse victims.

Their aim is to help children and young people make sense of the confusion they feel and to teach them coping strategies to deal with the difficulties they face. They highlight their strengths and potential so that they are able to move from victim to survivor.

35 of us will be taking part in the Splat Quack GO mud run to raise funds for this brilliant service.

Our team will be made up of Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Managers, Team Leaders, Administrators, Receptionists and Cleaners.

Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated.
