A place for all of the 2022 London Marathon fundraisers to join together.

Story

Hi all!  This year I'm going to be (attempting) to run the London Marathon - for those that know me, I very rarely exercise in any form and am well known at work for taking the lift both up and down the stairs - considering there are only 2 floors, this will give you an idea of how exercise adverse I actually am.

You may well ask then, why in my right mind, am I doing this?! Well this then brings me round to Saint Francis Hospice.  I first became acquainted with Saint Francis through my company, whereby they became our chosen charity to fundraise for - I was aware of the amazing work they carried out but never did I imagine that I would experience that first hand. During the final months of my Mums life, she spent several weeks in the hospice and they all supported and cared for her when she came home. They did and do all of this, with huge amounts of compassion, support, genuine care and consideration - not just for my Mum but for all of us as a family.  They truly are amazing at what they do.

I know that times are tough, but I ask if could dig into your pockets and donate.....pennies, pounds, whatever you can afford.  Your donation means, that these angels in orange, can continue to carry out their amazing work.
