Thanks for taking the time to visit Stan's JustGiving page. Stan used this page to raise vital funds for Alzheimer's Research UK when he dressed up as the Easter Bunny in aid of the cause. Stan passed away peacefully on 12th June at his home surrounded by loved ones. In lieu of flowers donations would be welcomed in support of this fantastic Charity he cared so much about.

Stan's efforts began in response to a newspaper article which implied that elderly people in care homes are vegetating and waiting to die. He did not want people to be put off considering care as an option who might really benefit from it and felt it was a huge insult to the fantastic staff who go above and beyond the call of duty to provide wonderful care at homes like his. You only get out of life what you put into it and as well as proving the paper wrong he was delighted to be supporting Alzheimer's Research UK to invest in the future for others whose lives are touched by dementia.
