Hi everyone,

This year I'm attempting to run the London Marathon in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

It's a wonderful hospital which sadly I have first hand experience of. When my son Danny was only 1, he unfortunately had a brief stay at the hospital. The hospital, the staff and the overall service was excellent and thankfully he made a full recovery.

As you know, I'm built for comfort rather than distance or speed, so this will not be easy for me.

Hopefully I can raise as much money as I can to say thank you to them and to help them continue their great work.
