Stena Steppers February Fitbit Challenge

Orla Noonan is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support

Red Hot Chili Steppers February Fitbit Challenge · 1 February 2022

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Thanks for supporting our fundraising. The Stena Line Irish Sea Management team are getting set to walk in circles, jog on the spot and for our Fitbits to never leave our wrists as we embark on our February Fitbit Challenge. We're going to take or attempt to take 10,000 steps per day for the month of February. There’ll be blood, blisters and bitterness and we’ll no doubt lose the run (or the step) of ourselves but it’ll be worth it for the lean, mean stepping machines that we'll all become. What’s more and even better, if we hit the mark the company will be making a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support - a brilliant charity raising much needed funds to support people with cancer. Cancer comes close to us all and it’s taken some brilliant colleagues from us. Let’s do it for them. To top up the company donation we'd hugely appreciate any additional funds you can help us raise. Every pound counts and goes directly to Macmillan.

At Macmillan, we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are our worries. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
