Human Appeal provides relief to victims of natural disasters, wars and social hardship. It improves the quality of life of underprivileged communities through our projects that aim to provide education, health and social development. It looks after the wellbeing of orphans.

Story

The last ten years, fitness has been a real challenge for me. Desperate to make a difference, in May 2015 , I joined a ladies gym, Mix-it-Up... and have never looked back!  As a team, we are here, stepping up to our latest challenge....

From 22nd July (1st Dhul Hijjah) until the 20th August, I will be walking a minimum of 10,000 steps every day for 30 days to raise money for much needed sustainable solar powered water wells in Tharparkar, Pakistan. It is often the case that the burden of collecting water falls on the shoulders of young girls and women, forcing them to walk miles in the blistering heat.

Living in a western world, we take advantage of having access to clean water, this is not the case everywhere. In Pakistan statistics show that almost 21 million people lack access to clean water.

If you would like to donate, my aim was to raise £770 for one water well, but with the kind and generous donations already received, we are amazingly on our way to a second well!! If the donations continue to come in for the last few days left of this challenge, it will enable an entire second village to practice good hygiene, feed livestock and grow crops, including lovely safe water to drink. There is still time to donate....so please do

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
