London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

I am by no means a runner in any shape or form but I have decided to run to raise money for a company I consider very important!!!

As some of you my know my dad commit suicide when I was just 12 years old. It was a very tough time in my life and I didn't know who to turn to, but a school counsellor mentioned the NSPCC so I called them and spoke to a lovely lady who listened to me and reassured me. I didn't only call once when things got tough I turned to them.

If this charity was around for my dad when he was younger and become a troubled kid then just maybe he would have been able to cope better as an adult, who knows!! Anyway they are a charity very close to my heart and being a childline counsellor myself I can honestly say that your donations are going to a great cause because these kids rely on this charity.

Thank you for all your support and I hope I do you all proud at the London marathon xxx
