I am running 100 miles in January in memory of my late grandad Peter Liversidge who passed away from Covid-19 in November last year. He was cared for by the wonderful staff at St James Hospital. In particular Sarah in Ward J53. 

I am aware that Leeds Cares utilised funding from the initial grant from the Covid-19 appeal to support patients by providing a free bedside tv and phone service to allow patients to feel more comfortable and be in contact with their family when restrictions restrict the ability to visit. I hope that this money can help to aid both St James & the LGI to support their patients further with the current Covid situation.
