My brave little jacob was born on 3/5/17 with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and hypoplastic aortic arch he was transferred over to alder hey the day he was born and has been given the most incredible care i could have ever wished for. He underwent the norwood operation at 2 weeks old what should of been an 8-12 hour operation turned into a 20 hour operation because if multipal conplications and an unseen further problem with his heart. The cardiac surgeons worked tirelessly on my son that day and did not give up on him when he eventually came out of theatre they worked on him in intensive care for a further four hours because if the bleeding coming from his chest. Not once did any nurses doctors anethatists or suregeons give up on my son they have fought so hard to keep him here and i believe because they fought he fought. Since his operation we have up days n we have had very bad days they have no discovered jacobs brain is swelled and has various bleeds and his having violent fits even with everything stacked against him my little miracle is still fighting with the help of the incredible staff on critical care. I want to raise money for critical care and for ward c1 to go towards vital equiptment they need to keep my child and other children here and fighting .
