We provide specialist care to children with life-limiting illness

Story

Thanks for checking out my page. I'm really looking forward to running this marathon on the 7th May on my home turf. It's all new too me. I've never run a marathon before - but I'm really looking forward to the challenge of it all and the training for the race is both preparing and changing me.

I'm running in support of The Northern Ireland Children's Hospice who care for children with a life-limiting condition who may never reach to adulthood. I'm a dad and my children are healthy - but I want to run for the mums and dads whose children are not - if by facing 26 miles in a marathan can help them in any way at all...I'll gladly do it!

This is where you can help too through your generosity. Every thing you give, whatever you feel able to donate, will be a great encouragement to me and expecially for them. I have a target time to run (under 4 hours) and I have a target ammount to raise (£1000). Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please give as you are able and wish me well! I'll provide updates how training is going! Thanks again...Stephen
