I am writing a personal note to appeal to as many people as possible to raise funds for this extremely important cause. 

My local Marie Curie hospice offers the reassurance of specialist care and support, in a friendly and welcoming environment, for people living with a terminal illness and there  loved ones.

I work as a taxi driver and have witnessed first hand countless people who have an overwhelming positive opinion about the facility. For me it was an easy decision to try raising funds for the hospice.

The government raised half the costs to run the hospice and nursing service, the remaining costs are raised through donations to the charity and supporters of the charity like me talking part in events and raising money. Unfortunately at this time, this is proving very challenging. And with your support I would like to help.

The care provided is free for patients and their families and will touch all our lives in one way or another at some point. So please help me raise as much as possible to help Marie Curie continue the wonderful work they do for us.

I am attempting to run the West Highland Way in 24 hours and also climbing Kilimanjaro. I hope with all the hard work and determination I will be putting in to complete these challenges, you will support the cause. Can you please pass this on to as many people as you can. Thank you
