So, my colleagues thought it would be a good idea if I got involved in 'Bungee the Boss' to help raise money for Penny Brohn UK.

On Friday 16th June at Bristol Harbourside, I will be jumping from a crane at 160ft with an aim to raise £500 for Penny Brohn UK.

For those of you who don't know (as I didn't), Penny Brohn UK is a Bristol based charity dedicated to bringing improved health and enrichment to everyone affected by cancer.  They are there to help not only those with cancer but also their families and carers.

From their National Centre in Bristol and regional hubs in the North, Midlands, London and South Coast, they provide a powerful combination of physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support that is designed to help anyone affected by cancer, at any stage of the disease. 

Penny Brohn UK help over 10,000 people a year and their services are offered free of charge.  To do this, they rely on donations.  

My £500 sponsorship money would cover 10 peoples attendance on their Treatment Support Clinic, which supports people preparing for, undergoing or recovering from chemo and radiotherapy.
