Inspired by my Mother-in-law Brenda (who ran last year) and motivated by that growing sense I'm not getting any younger, I will be running the London Marathon in April. Although this has been a great personal challenge which I've relished, more importantly, it is a wonderful opportunity to support a local charity. Grove Cottage in Bishops Stortford is an independently funded organisation offering education and care to local children and adults with learning disability and provided much needed respite for their families. Through my own family's experience, I know how invaluable the care, development and friendships formed are to the people Grove Cottage support.
