London Bikeathon 2006 · 16 July 2006 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for this years London Bikeathon for Leukaemia Research.  This is the second time that I have entered the Bikeathon having completed the 26 mile course in 2004 and missing out last year as I was suffering with a back injury. On Sunday 16th July 2006 I am tackling the new 52 mile 'Chelsea Challenge' and am again looking for sponsors. It also gives me an incentive to get fit and to aid recovery of the disc problem in my lower spine (My orthopaedic consultant says that cycling is OK but running is taboo!!). Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
