Steve's Great South Run 2013

Firstly a HUGE thank you for coming this far and visiting my JustGiving page - just a couple of moments more and you can go back to doing what you would normally be doing.
We've all lost a close relative and my story is no different.
My Dad - Paul Fensome was a real inspiration to me. A rock within our small and close family. Dad led a very active life - sport was an integral part of his life. He was fit - very fit; playing cricket in his early years and continuing with squash into his late 60's. I never managed to beat him playing squash and never managed to card a round of golf in fewer shots than him. The sad irony was that Dad only managed 12 holes of his last ever round. The fatal heart attack which he suffered meant he died on the course without finishing the round.
So why therefore am I running 10 miles? Firstly, I think Dad would be shocked I'd run that far without stopping. Secondly I want to raise some money to fund research into heart disease and finally, because I want to do something that I am personally very proud of achieveing.
So go on.... please have a little dip into the pocket and help me achieve my goals....
