Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As i’m half metal ( following a road accident in 2011) I thought i’d complete the circle by adding the half iron man.The event consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 miles on the bike and a half marathon, totalling 70.3 miles.There’s also the small matter of this being my first triathlon!!!

My friends and their son Mackinley, have received support from the Microtia UK charity. Mackinley is a bundle of energy, always with a smile on his face. This is how i intend to approach  the next 5 months of intense triathlon training. The charity is doing a lot of great work for a lot of great people, so please dig deep. The money will be gratefully received by the charity.
