I am going to be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of the charity IA. I have lived with an Ileostomy since the age of 17, and I can remember the first few months were extremely tough and difficult to deal with what had happened to me. I signed up to receive the IA newsletters, and they really helped with the articles to make me realise that people can go on and have fulfilling lives. I want to raise funds and awareness so other people with an ileostomy, who may be struggling, realise that having an ileostomy does not stop you from living your lives and doing anything that you want to do. 

It isn’t just me that has lived with a Ileostomy in my family, and I am running this half marathon for you too.
