Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
Hello
Within the next few weeks I have the opportunity to take part in two events which are mildley challenging. The first takes place on Sunday 18th Sept 2011. The Kamikaze Adventure Run. Please take the time to view this link. And watch the video. http://www.votwo.co.uk/CustomContentRetrieve.aspx?ID=1164362
I have been in training since early May with www.forcesfit.co.uk bedford. And have finally mentally decided that this is the event is the challenge for me. Whether physically my body is up for it is another question. However I will complete this course with my son and another Forcesfit collegue (Gary McKeaveney).
We will be camping over night Mapperton Farm Dorset ready to take the challenge Sunday morning.
The second opportunity for me to raise money for the Firefighters Charity will take place on 1st October 2011. This will be at Body Flight in Thurleigh. Please follow this link and watch the Vertigo video
This event had already been cancelled a few weeks prior to me jumping due to an unfortunate incident not related to Verigo.
Both challenges will give me the opportunity to test my nerve and stamina but essentially to raise money for the Firefighters Charity.
I hope that you all will all be able to donate a little towards this charity and cherish the thought that this is just a little hardship that I will be putting my self through compared to the real heroes who on a daily basis risk their lives to save others.
I thank you all in anticipation for your generosity and words of encouragement.
