Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for the MS Society, a charity very close to my heart, by doing 2 half marathons - the Great North Run on Sept 18th and then the Great Eastern on October 9th.

Both runs done now !

Great North Run was a fantastic day.  There were 429 other runners for MS there as well which was brilliant.   At the marquee afterwards we all got to meet some of the people who will benefit ... this was humbling.

Peterborough was great too, a second PB made better as I ran with around 60 other Bedford Harriers.  I left nothing on the course & was very grateful to Mark and Dirk for helping me when my legs went wibbly after I finished.  They ensured I made it to the pub after for a restorative guinness.

Thanks again for all the donations and messages of support.  They helped a lot especially in the last 2 miles.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Any contributions will be gratefully received by this fantastic charity.
