London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·

We operate the local air ambulances for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, as well as the National Children's Air Ambulance across the UK.

Story

As many of you know, I lost my precious baby Grandson, Freddie, as the result of a car accident in December 2014. Within minutes of the accident the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was at the scene and the wonderful team did everything they could to try to save Freddie.

It is because of their support that he managed to survive another 3 days before he sadly slipped away from us.

Our family will always be eternally grateful to the Air Ambulance service and their wonderful team for everything they did to try and save Freddie and the fact that their efforts gave us the opportunity to say goodbye to our special little man.

To show our gratitude, I will be taking on the 2017 London Marathon to raise much needed funds for the Air Ambulance Service.

This will be my first marathon just 5 days before my 55th Birthday........I must be mad!

Any sponsorship you can spare to support this fantastic cause will be much appreciated.
