Story

Cancer never bothered me or gained a thought because I thought it was something what happened to other people. Not in a selfish way, but as a child growing up you always think it will never happen to me or someone I know. I was 22 when my mother got breast Cancer, and it's the most horrible thing to happen to anyone. The big "C" word. It's a crushing word, which reduces families to silence and brings the thought of defeat. 2 Things have triggered this event, one is personal, and for my mum. who has upto now luckily beat Breast Cancer. Two, a local girl called Sophie who died age 19 because she was failed a simple smear test. Lets beat Cancer once and for all.
