Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few friends and i are running the Great North half Marathon in aid of Marie Curie. Marie Curie is not an Indian restaurant but a charity based organisation who supplies nurses to the old and sick. We are hopeful of raising enough money to provide at least one extra nurse this year. Hopefully she will be there to tender our aching limbs on the finish line.

I started running in my 60th  year after being diagnosed with a rare form of gingeritise. Running has help me overcome this disability and i now am a more confident person.

After the accident last year whilst pruning my tree with a chainsaw, i have adjusted well to my new prosthetic legs and i am hopefully of completing the run faster than my colleagues.

If you can donate a small amount or if you are stinking rich a large amount it will give me the motivation to complete the course.

Many Thanks
