We are fundraising to raise money for Joey’s Journey at CCLG, to help other children like Joey with congenital glioblastoma.

My son Joey was diagnosed with a Grade 4 glioblastoma at 12 days old and had to have 2 lifesaving surgeries at this time. He then underwent 7 months of chemotherapy before we received the amazing news that he was cancer free.

Joey is now 15 months old and is the most amazing, happy wee boy you could ask for. He is progressing each day and while he still has a way to go, and we still have his regular check ups, he is doing great.

Any funds donated to Joey’s charity will be used to fund research into congenital glioblastomas which are incredibly rare. Joey has fought so hard to get to where he is and any help that can be given to other children with the same diagnosis would be very much welcome.
