This year I have decided to run the Chelmsford Marathon, a distance that I have never ran before.

Running a marathon has always been a dream/challenge of mine. So I thought if I am going to put myself through the rigorous training, why not do it for a good cause. I have chosen St Francis Hospice to benefit from this 26.2 miles because they supported our family when Carly’s grandparents needed their support the most, whilst courageously fighting but sadly losing their battle against cancer.

Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity and one of the largest adult hospices in the UK. Our team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and a range of other health and social care professionals provide care and support to individuals with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and family members, completely free of charge. Any amount you can give however small would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your kind generosity.
