10 km a day for 30 days · 20 April 2020

Support QEH staff and patients during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. The money raised is used to make improvements to the hospital environment, assist with staff health and well-being and enhance patient experience.

Story

My plan this year was to raise money to support a local community group who support people with learning difficulties. I had events planned that have now been impacted by CV19.

Like most people i have been inspired by the work that the NHS has been doing over the past few months in helping to fight the virus.

I have now postponed my fundraising for the support group and i know that the organisers will understand. The money raised so far has been transfered to this page and i hope that those who donated understand.

So my plan is to complete a 10km run everyday for the next 42 days starting 20th April and finishing onnthe 1st June. That works out as 420km or 10 marathons. I will upload to strava to prove im covering the distance.
