In April 2015 I met a very inspiring lady called Ali, we were running a marathon in Kent together. It transpired it was her first marathon, she ran it like a boss! A few months later, she and I were still in touch and she told me about her Husband Mark's illness, one I knew nothing about; LUPUS.

She started training for more events and raising money for LUPUS UK and all the while Mark was getting less well and she was having more land on her plate in life. As a couple they have been through a living hell, but LUPUS UK and the work it does in supporting those with the disease have been amazing and helped them both no end. Mark is better than he was and Ali is still inspiring all around her!

As I run a bit, I thought I could help, I thought you, reading this could help. LUPUS UK is a small charity that needs help, a disease that destroys your immune system is no friend to no man... lets get together and help LUPUS UK get more research and support done where it is needed.
