Stowmarket Chamber Charity Walk in aid of SARS · 18 September 2022

Suffolk Accident Rescue Service volunteers provide an enhanced resource to help treat critically ill patients who need urgent specialist care before they reach hospital. All our doctors and paramedics volunteer without charge and we rely on voluntary donations to support our life-saving activity.

Story

Stowmarket & District Chamber of Commerce (and friends/family) will be completing a 13.5km charity walk on Sunday 18th September in Mid Suffolk.

This walk is in aid of Suffolk Accident Rescue Service, who provide a vital service for our local community. They are entirely funded by donations and exist only because of the selfless volunteers who give up their free time to provide this service.

SARS volunteer clinicians provide immediate and advanced medical care to patients with serious or life-threatening medical conditions or trauma. They provide specialist volunteer responders to assist the East of England Ambulance Service at the scenes of serious medical emergencies or trauma.

Whilst we all hope we never require their services, we realise that their existence may be the difference between life and death for people in an emergency.

We hope can support us with a donation to support SARS.
