Story

Stroud RFC u/12s are going to climb the highest peak in the Brecon beacons, Pen Y Fan. The young men will not only be walking up the gruelling assent but will also carry the teams tackle bags. Anyone who has ever visited this area will know this is by no way an easy feat and the fact the British Army train their soldiers on this same peak shows its difficulty.

The reason for this challenge is a close friend of the team, Ed Slater has recently been diagnosed with this awful disease. Ed has always inspired all our players and has always taken the time to come to training, sign items for the kids, carry out prize givings and generally supporting them in anyway he can.

The young men have now decided to show their support by carrying out this challenge to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association so that this terrible disease can one day be eradicated.
